He impressed the public and the press in New York and London. For us, Eduardus Halim is a secret tip. He competes effortlessly with highly praised Eastern Eurpoean colleagues. Halim combines a phenomenal virtuosity with poetic creative force reminiscent of Horowitz and Schura Cherkosky.

In the British Consulate he fully asserted himself with the mysterious great "Humoresque", Preludes Op. 24, a Nocturne and a "Berceuse"; also as a fascinating player of Schumann and Chopin with glowing temperament and concentrated circumspection. Until now, Halim can only be heard on a single CD (on Arabesque) with fantastic renditions of Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Busoni and Godowsky. It is hoped that Halim will soon be heard as a soloist in a piano concerto or at a piano recital in the Musik Hall.

Hoffentlich ist Eduardus Halim bald als Solist eines Klavierkonzerts oder mit einem Klavierabend in der Musikhalle zu horen.
